How to wait for results in Denver
Why, by taking in a Metallica concert, of course. I'd give a shout out to the Right Reverend Greg and sis-in-law Melissa, but I don't think they'd be able to hear it . . .
Yes, and what a great "waiting period" it was. Somehow, most likely due the blessing of ear plugs, my ears are not ringin' (Palin grammar) at all. Not to mention, the sheer joy of turning on NPR and hearing the election results (GO OBAMA!!!!) without all the news pundits weighing in every 5 minutes projecting their ANALyses. The two-hour show rocked. The one-hour ride home with a feeling of hope inside was even better.
