Movie criticism made the jump from print to television via Siskel and Ebert on PBS. The pair moved from public to mainstream TV with great success, and Roeper joined Ebert after Siskel's death in 1999. Sadly, Ebert's own battle with cancer has left him without a voice, leaving Roeper to spar with guest co-hosts for the last two years. Today, the pair called it quits.
