Actually, I enjoyed math back in the days of the abacus and LED calculator. Still, I'm glad I don't have to meet the grad requirements for the Class of 2011 and beyond. Four years of math, four years of English - yikes. High expectations should be encouraged, but we've got to be prepared for an onslaught of dropouts or fifth-year seniors. But they aren't using trimesters, right? Trimesters will certainly save us, won't they?
